Happy New Year!!!!

We hope everyone had a great Christmas!! Ours was the best one ever!! It was such a blessing to be able to teach Luke the true meaning of Christmas and to experience it through our little boys eyes! It is so awesome to be a parent! The weekend before Christmas we made our big trip to the mall. Luke got to see a clown at the toy store who made him a Elmo balloon, got to ride the carousel, play on the playground inside the mall with about 8 million other kids and finally we went to Build-A-Bear and built a Grinch. That night we went to Stone Mountain and saw all the Christmas lights. We drove around all the neighborhoods looking at lights almost every night, I think that was Lukes favorite thing. You can view our photo album and see all the fun we had!
On Christmas Eve we got an early wake up call from Aunt KK (Kristin) to tell us that Adam asked her to marry him!!! To be honest it was not a wake up call for me I had been anxiously waiting for the phone call that morning and did not sleep at all that night. Adam and I were texting each other because neither one of us could sleep. We are so excited about planning a wedding this year and having Adam be officially a part of our family!! Check out Kristin's HUGE rock, I am surprise she can hold her hand up like that!!!=)Christmas morning was a blast! Luke loved all his toys. He is a huge Thomas fan, so when he saw that Santa brought him his very own Thomas table he could not have been anymore excited!! He still wakes up every morning and goes straight downstairs to play with it.
Finally, to start 2008 off right. Luke got his big boy bed (or fort as he likes to call it). He loves it and thinks it's so cool to sleep in a big bed! Happy New Year!!!! We hope everyone has the best 2008!! We are sure looking forward to ours!
