It sure is the most wonderful time of the year!!! We try and make memories with our children all throughout the year, but it is this time of the year that seems like we make new memories every single day and continue traditions that we started 6 years ago when Luke was a baby.
Something we did last year was the Polar Express the weekend before Thanksgiving. We decided then to make this an annual tradition. So off we went to Bryson City to catch the Polar Express to the North Pole. The boys loved it and were so excited to get to the North Pole and pick up Santa. It was just like the movie, punched our ticket, served hot chocolate while dancing in the isle, read the book, we sang Christmas carols and so on! It was adorable hearing the boys cheer for Santa to come to our car on the train and when he did he gave them a bell. It was such a wonderful night!!!
Once we got back from the North Pole we drove to Asheville that night. We meet up with one of my (Tricia) best friends Catherine and her beautiful family!! She has twin girls that are Luke's age and another little girl that is a few month older than Liam. The kids had a great time together. We met for brunch and then went to the Grove Park Inn to see all the Gingerbread Houses.
After we left the Grove Park Luke could not wait to go in the big castle!! To our surprise Luke LOVED every minute of the tour through the Biltmore. He did not want to leave. He thought it was "so cool!!!"
Then we were off to Charleston to spend Thanksgiving with the Wilson's. We always look forward to spending Thanksgiving there so much!! We did our annual Turkey Run. Then after the race the boys have their own race. Landon however this year was not so into it (check out the pictures in the album to see what I'm talking about). Luke loved it and was very excited about getting his medal.
After a fabulous Thanksgiving lunch/dinner. We continued another tradition going to the Nights of Lights on James Island. Here are the boys with daddy and Uncle Mike roasting marshmallows.

We attended Luke and Landon's schools Breakfast with Santa. The boys loved eating pancakes, hanging with the Garner boys and telling Santa what they wanted.

This week was quit the week for Luke. He preformed with his after school music class by singing at the churches Christmas program. Then above you can see he was an angel in his kindergartens Christmas performance. He was absolutely adorable and wanted me to know a few things one that he was a warrior angel, and the wings and halo were very "annoying."
Friday night we had our Sunday School Christmas Party at our house. It was a Tacky Christmas Sweater theme and you can see how beautiful ours were. I borrowed mine from my grandmother...of course it looks lovely on her, but worked very nicely for the theme of the party. Check out the photo album to see the winner of the Tackiest Christmas Sweater...Carrie and Ryan did not disappoint that is for sure!! Actually, there were LOTS of really good ones. It was such a blast!!!!!!
Liam is 3 months now and is growing way too fast for his mommy!!! He is just the sweetest baby in the world. He smiles, coos, laughs, loves watching his big brothers and melts our hearts everyday!!!
