The day after Thanksgiving we boarded the Polar Express to the North Pole!! The boys had a ball! Their excitement and little faces just light up our world and brought the Christmas spirit to life for sure!!
When the Polar Express brought us back, we continued our trip to visit one of our favorite families in the world...the Goforth's! We enjoyed spending the weekend with them and named ourselves the Brady bunch...they have 3 beautiful girls and of course our 3 handsome boys! We visited the Grove Park to see the Gingerbread Houses, ate at some of Asheville's wonderful restaurants and enjoyed spending time at the Goforth's house too. The boys had fun on a little hike up the mountain with the girls. What a perfect way to end our Thanksgiving week!!
We started our December off by gaining a wonderful new sister in-law!!! December 1 we traveled to Charleston to begin the wedding festivities! That night we had a great dinner with Jennifer's family and enjoyed meeting them. Then Friday was the bridesmaids luncheon and the groomsmen played golf, then the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Saturday was SO incredibly beautiful!!! Michael and Jennifer's wedding was spiritually moving and an unbelievable wedding! Then the reception was a full out celebration...great food, photo booth, smores, you name it, it was there and just perfect!! We are SO excited to welcome Aunt Jennifer to the Wilson family!!!!

Landon had his first Christmas performance at his school and it was adorable!! His face just glowed with excitement when he saw us there and he sang so well! It was so, so sweet!!
Luke's Christmas performance was the following day and it was amazing!! He was a Wiseman and his line was "I give the gift of gold to the Son of God." How amazing it was to hear his little voice and see his sweet face. The performance by all the kids was top notch! It was awesome!!!
We had our Sunday School Christmas Party at our house and the theme was to dress as a character from a Christmas movie. Jimmy was cousin Eddie and I was Cindy Lou. It was A LOT of fun!! I don't think I've laughed that hard in a long time!! We had some wonderful white elephant gifts too...the big hit was the belt with mistletoe on it (given by...you guessed it, Jimmy=)). HAHAHA!!!!!
Today we went to our church's Gingerbread House Contest. We are proud 3rd place winners for the basic gingerbread house category! There were some AMAZING houses!! Lots of creative people!!
Take a look at a bunch more pictures in album 3 and see all the fun we have been having!! Enjoy this wonderful time of the year with family and friends making wonderful memories! That is exactly what we will be doing!! Merry Christmas friends!!!
