Where to start...

Guess I'll just start where we left off last month. We took the boys to Disney on Ice!! They both were very excited. Landon however did not make it through the entire show, so Daddy enjoyed "watching" the show from all different angles in Philips Arena.
Not sure if Luke enjoyed the cotton candy the most or the Halloween part of the show where all of the Disney villains and Mickey were together. Either way he really enjoyed it and so did mommy!!
We took our annual trip to Asheville where we always have the best time with the Goforths and enjoy the beauty of the leaves changing in the mountains.
We are waiting in front of our favorite candy store to open...priorities!!=) Luke wanted us to take a picture in front of our favorite candy store with all the goodies we were so patiently waiting for. He is full of lots of groovy smiles, but at least he is looking at the camera and not having to be forced to (ie. the picture above=))!We stayed on the Biltmore property and it was breathtaking!! We also visited the Biltmore or as Luke called it the "biggest castle ever!"
The boys really liked looking at all the different ponds on the estate.
After a busy morning we went to the Goforths for some fun cookie making.
A little background, in middle and high school Catherine and I made chocolate chip cookies all the time. (For all of you that know me really well this has not changed for me I just miss my cookie making friend.) So we thought we would introduce our kids to one of our favorite things to do growing up. We made some delicious chocolate chip cookies, if I do say so myself! What great memories!!
Luke's favorite holiday, Halloween!!! He is slightly obsessed with Scooby Doo...so he was Scooby Doo for Halloween. His costume barely fit, but you do what you gotta do to be Scooby.
Landon was Wolverine. This fits his personality perfectly!! He LOVED his costume and never took off his hat the entire night. Think we probably have another little boy that is going to love Halloween just as much as his big brother.
My favorite holiday is quickly approaching and we have started our Christmas festivities with a bang!! The Beck family and us took a day or really evening trip to North Carolina to ride the Polar Express! Here they are all ready to take a trip to the North Pole and pick up Santa.
We got our tickets!!
Luke and Walker waiting for the Polar Express to arrive!
On the Polar Express. The boys are checking out all the delicious goodies.
Aimee and me with our sweet little peanuts!! Aims and I have been best of friends for over 30 years!! WOW!! So thankful for her and all the fun memories we have together and continue to make with our kiddos now!!
Landon loved the hot chocolate!! Yes, they sang the song, did the dance and delivered our hot chocolate and it was actually quit tasty!
Tickets please!
We made it to the North Pole and picked up Santa. Landon loved Santa at first and then when I walked away to take the picture he was not a big fan. Notice that he is not letting go of the bell that Santa gave them all. He rang that the rest of the night.

We had the best time on the Polar Express and are excited about making this a new tradition with the Becks!!

We are looking forward to the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and enjoying time together with family and friends.

Check out the photo album for all the pictures from the past month! We've been busy little bee's and wouldn't have it any other way!! Memories we will treasure forever!!
