Wrapping up our Summer with a Bang!!

We took a fun boys, mommies and grandmommies trip to the beach!! We were so lucky to be asked by Helen and her mom to go down to their place in New Smyrna. It was a blast!!!! The boys had SO much fun together! The picture above was one of 3 times we actually got them to be calm enough to sit down and take a picture together. They went non-stop all day long. They loved the beach and the pool! I only got pictures on the beach because as you can imagine there was not any time for picture taking at the pool. Landon was in and out in and out of the pool. Luke and Benjamin were swimming like little fish and wanted to make sure we saw what good swimmers they are. If we happen to look away it was "mommy, you didn't see me just swim like a shark or you didn't see me jump in or I want to swim to you and let's race..."
The boys were busy building sand castle and as soon as they built one it didn't take long for it to be destroyed. Peyton wanted to join in and learn what he will be doing in just a few short months.
There were also some little naked boys running around!! After beach time they didn't want sand in their bathing suits anymore so off they came and out came the hose. They were so cute!!
Speaking of cute, look at the best little buddies in their matching crabby outfits.
We had a yummy dinner at Aunt Catfish and Luke and Benjamin thought the big catfish was so cool!!
The only picture of the mommy's and all the boys at Aunt Catfish! The boys loved that there was a playground there too.
Landon ready to go out to the beach!
The last day and last photo opportunity we got with all 4 boys together before we left our fun, adventurous beach trip!! So many wonderful memories and we are so grateful for such great friends to make them with!!!!
I can't believe I didn't get a picture with all the kids, but our good friends the Stephenson's moved and we went to visit them. They have an awesome pool and playground in their neighborhood that we went to and had lunch together. It was such a fun day!!
We tried to go to the laser show with a group of friends. We had just finished our picnic and the bottom dropped out!! It was so fun and we ran around in the rain, but we were all too wet to stay for the show.
So the next thing I see in my backseat is a boy watching his movie on the way home in his underwear! I mean who wants to sit in wet clothes when you can just be in your underwear. =)
One morning I found the boys sitting on the floor getting the photo albums out. They each were looking at one and just scrolling through the pages (very strange for my wild boys, who would usually be ripping the pages out). Guess they were remembering all the fun things we've done and probably ready to plan our next trip.
What a great summer it has been!!! I have loved every second of being home with my boys and making so many wonderful memories together. Pre-K starts for Luke on Monday!!! I cannot believe it!!
Check out many more pictures in Album 2.
