We had a PJ and pancakes Christmas Party and Santa made a surprise visit during our party!! It was SO much fun!! The kids had a blast playing, eating and getting to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas!! Santa came down to the basement and surprised the kids with bells ringing and a big "Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas!" The kids stopped everything they were doing and ran to Santa. It was priceless!! The kids all got their pictures taken with Santa and then Santa read them The Night Before Christmas before he left to head back to the North Pole to get ready for Christmas Eve! Luke also had his school Christmas party which was fun! I was one of the mom's in charge of the party and that night when I was making cookies for his class I felt like a real mom! I sometime have those "your a real mom" moments and that was one of them. We read a book to the class, did a craft and decorated Christmas tree cookies. It's been such an exciting week having Christmas through my children's eye!!
As the parties and craziness of the season can overshadow the true meaning of Christmas we are thankful for the birth of our Lord and Savior!! Thank you God for sending us your son so we can have eternal life!!! Merry Christmas!!!!
